I came in for a jaw problem. After closing my mouth for a bite of food my jaw would lock in place. It was the scariest thing that happened to me. I had food in my mouth and I couldn’t swallow or chew! I would just try to move my jaw back and forth until it would pop or crack back in place; painfully it would close. I had to do something so I called my M.D. and the office wanted me to go to the dentist or a TMJ specialist. My daughter told me a chiropractor could help, so I decided to go to the chiropractor. I came to see Dr. Delgado on the advice of a friend. I had been in training for a body building competition and pulled a muscle in my shoulder and neck. I was in extreme pain and couldn’t lift my arm above the shoulder. After 3 weeks of chiropractic care I was pain free and had resumed light weight lifting. After 2 months of chiropractic care and physical therapy I am 100% recovered. My spine has resumed normal shape and I have resumed running and regular weight lifting. I feel I have made a full recovery and gained invaluable knowledge of the importance the spine makes in overall health.
